Getting there and away
BY AIR
Bergerac Airport 22 miles. Bordeaux Airport 62 miles.
Ryan Air fly from London Stanstead to Bergerac. British Airways fly from London Gatwick to Bordeaux. The flights take about 90 mins.
BY TRAIN
The high-speed TGV train runs from Paris [Gare du ?] to Bordeaux. Journey time approx 6.5 hours. A local train runs to Marmande, which is 14 miles from the farmhouse.
BY FERRY
Car ferries run from Portsmouth to Caen and St Malo between. Journey time approx 12 hours. The drives from the French ports to the Four Seasons Farmhouse take between 7 and 8 hours (320 / 340 miles respectively).

Levignac de Guyenne (a few minutes away) for supermarket, doctor,
chemist and butcher
Duras (8 kms) has excellent
facilities and one of the finest chateaux in the area.
Markets take place weekly on different days at nearby Monsegur, Duras, Marmande and Eymet.
You are in easy access to the wonderful local markets, and popular

Local history
You are also 20
miles from both St Emelion and Bergerac. The area is very interesting
historically, there are over 40 bastides -fortified villages many built
by the the English in the 13th Century.
